Objects group related facts as key–value pairs. Dot notation reads a known property, and an assignment can update that property when the record changes.
const book = {
title: "The Hobbit",
available: true,
};
book.available = false;
console.log(`${book.title}: ${book.available}`);The exercises cover object literals, property reads and updates, mismatched property names, and passing whole objects to functions. Objects are the basic record shape behind users, products, settings, and most other structured JavaScript data.
